Kehila is an independent non-profit organization, which is neither funded by public authorities, nor is supported by any political or religious groups. Our activities are made possible due to fees paid by the members and with the generous support of our donors and sponsors, who share the vision of Kehila and see the importance of what we have established.
Your donation will help us to strengthen the connection of the community’s children to the Hebrew language and culture, and thereby to enable these children to keep carrying the cultural treasure that distinguishes us and makes us who we are, keep it alive, and when the day comes – pass it to the next generations.
The proceeds of your donation will be used to create an infrastructure that will enable, among other things, training educators and teachers, holding cultural events on Jewish holidays, purchasing Hebrew books, teaching Hebrew literacy, and granting scholarship to those children whose families are unable to afford the costs of the community’s activities. While we are already doing our very best to pursue as many as possible of these objectives, some of them are yet to be established, or are realized only to a limited extent due to lack of budget.
Unless you wish to remain anonymous, we would be very pleased to include your name in the list of our supporters that is published on this website, and to acknowledge your contribution on any appropriate occasion.
